Cholesterol Screening (Blood Chemistry Panel)

This simple blood draw includes 22 different test results, such as lipid panel (total cholesterol LDL, HDL, and triglycerides), blood sugar, liver enzymes, electrolytes and kidney function.

Cholesterol Screenings are administered by Trinity Health Partners:

Test Preparation
Participants need to fast from food and drink except water for 10 hours prior to blood draw.  

Test Results
The results from your cholesterol screen will be mailed to you within a week following the blood draw. You will be notified if any of your scores fall outside the normal range, which indicate you may be at risk. Participants whose test results indicate they may be at risk are encouraged to visit their doctor. Your test results are confidential information and are only sent to you. Your doctor does not receive a copy of your test results.
