Hospitalists Medicine Program
A Hospitalist is a physician that cares for patients while they are in the hospital. These providers are there for the patient from the time of admission into the hospital until they are discharged. The providers are assisted by other doctors, nurses and support staff to deliver a coordinated team approach to our patient's care while in the hospital.
The Hospitalist medicine team is on call 24 hours per day, 365 days of the year.
Why do I have a Hospitalist?
The Hospitalist is available to see you as often as needed throughout the day and will communicate with you and your family members information about your condition.
Our hospitalists are trained in general internal medicine and other specialties and are able to focus their attention on patients inside the hospital because they do not have outside private practices. They have experience and expertise in a wide range of diseases and medical conditions and immediate access to specialist physician when needed.
Providing this service to our patients at Trinity is a privilege and it is part of our focus to provide "The best outcome for every patient, every time".
How do I contact a Hospitalist?
