Privacy and convenience are the key elements in the design of the Infusion Center. Patients that come to Trinity Regional Medical Center for infusion treatments for cancer, blood transfusions, or antibiotics, use their infusion time in different ways. Some like to socialize and interact with other patients. Others want to enjoy their privacy to read a book or magazine; while others may want to rest quietly. With this understanding in mind, the Infusion Center was designed to accommodate the individual wants and needs of this diverse group of patients.

Patient comfort is a major objective at  the Infusion Center. To best accommodate our patients, the Infusion Center offers movable partitions and larger individual infusion stations. Patients can enjoy watching their own private flat screen televisions, or they have the option of opening the movable partition between the patient bays to visit with fellow patients.

The Infusion Center employs specially trained and certified chemotherapy nurses. The nursing staff is on-call 24 hours a day for chemotherapy patients on infusion pumps and antibiotic infusion pumps.

The Infusion Center is available to patients needing long term infusions with a doctor’s referral.
