Coming X-Rays and Computer Technology for Clearer Results

MRI is a test that uses a powerful magnetic radio frequency and a computer TV provide detailed pictures of different parts of the body. MRI images allow physicians to better evaluate parts of the body that are not assessed from other imaging methods (x-rays, CT or CAT Scan, Ultrasound). MRI can also image in 3D and in many different views or “planes”. 

Common uses for MRI:
Organs of the abdomen, pelvis, hips, knees, elbows, hands, wrist, spine and blood vessels.
