Operating on Patients who Experience Fractures, Joint Pain & Sports Medicine Injuries
Orthopaedic Surgeons operate on patients who experience fractures due to trauma, total joint patients and patients with sports medicine injuries. These physicians are board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Upon completing medical school, these physicians go on to a five year residency program consisting of one year of general surgery training and four years of training specific to orthopaedic surgery.
