Ensuring the Safety of Our Patients

During the Day

For the safety of our patients, the pediatric unit is a secured area. The west elevators, by the pharmacy, allow access to the floor from 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Once you are on the floor, you are required to have a staff member to help you exit the Pediatrics unit.
 

During the Night

Between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the only way to access the unit is through the east double doors. Push the intercom button to alert the staff and gain entrance to the unit.
