"Though my time at TRMC has been short, I have been thoroughly satisfied with my training. There have been a host of diverse cases that have presented individual challenges and learning opportunities. This has remained true not only during my months in podiatry but also during other rotations. The staff here are very friendly, and the faculty is more than willing to teach and invest their time in training well-rounded competent physicians. My transition from student to resident was smooth thanks to the small-town family atmosphere that the hospital provides.
The opportunity to follow patients from initial clinical encounters through postoperative care provides for a comprehensive learning experience. With weekly didactic meetings, case discussions, active research projects, and financing to attend podiatric conferences, there is no shortage of opportunities to enhance one's education. In short, the podiatric residency at TRMC offers a unique opportunity to further one's working knowledge of medicine by actively participating in all phases of patient care, and it does so while maintaining a warm family-centered environment."
