At Trinity our care of patients begins in the field with the Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians who can recommend a trauma alert from the field, along with activating our Acute MI (myocardial infarction) alert, or notify staff of a patient with an acute stroke prior to the patient’s arrival in the Emergency department.
 

Our ambulances have 12 lead EKG capabilities that can be transmitted to the Emergency department while enroute to the hospital. This rapid response activates the appropriate staff to be available to the patient upon their arrival to the Emergency department. Trinity has a hospital based Paramedic level ambulance service. Our emergency response consists of  a fleet of five ambulances that are available to respond to emergencies in the field within Fort Dodge and the surrounding area.
