Inviting Growth in Nursing and Igniting Teams in Excellence
Nurses at Trinity Regional Medical Center have participated in the Decisional Involvement Scale (DIS) survey to share their thoughts about the types of decisions in which they want to be involved. The results of the DIS survey were utilized to develop a Shared Decision Making (SDM) Model for nurses at Trinity Regional Medical Center called Inviting Growth in Nursing and Igniting Teams in Excellence (IGNITE).
Structure And Responsibilities Of Ignite Councils
Each council is made up of nurses from a variety of roles and departments, including nurses with expertise in each area. Each council is lead by a chair and co-chair who are not managers. All IGNITE council members meet with the Nursing Leadership/Strategy Council. The council includes the Chief Nursing Executive, senior staff, nurse managers and other representatives.
