Visiting Our Patients
General Visiting Hours
Trinity Regional Medical Center has open visiting hours. We encourage families to visit and participate in the care of their loved one. However, there may be planned times for rest depending on the unit and the patient's condition.
Caring May Mean Not Visiting
Restricted Visitation
In an effort to keep your loved one safe during the flu season:
- Please do not visit any patient if you have any of the following signs of illness:
• Fever • Cough
• Runny nose • Sore throat
• Vomiting • Diarrhea
- No more than two visitors at a time.
- Child visitors to Pediatrics and Birth Center are limited to brothers and sisters ONLY and must be symptom free.
To help prevent the spread of illness, all visitors are required to wash hands with soap and water, or use alcohol-based hand foam/gelupon entering and exiting a patient's room.
In addition, the hospital asks anyone coming into either hospital's Emergency department with influenza-like illness (fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, runny nose, nausea, vomiting), or accompanying persons with influenza-like illness to stay in their assigned room; another preventive measure to help minimize the spread of illness to other patients and staff.
After Hours Entry
For security reasons, the hospital locks its doors each evening at 9:00pm. After 9:00pm you must enter through the Emergency department door to visit a patient.
